About the Academy

Bangalore Culinary Academy is located at Hebbal in Bangalore, India. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art kitchens and classrooms, designed to give students an authentic industry-like experience.

The curriculum combines classical culinary foundations with modern global practices. Small batch sizes, personalised mentorship, and a balance of theory with hands-on training ensure every student receives focused attention and practical exposure.
Admissions & Eligibility

No, Our programmes are designed for students without prior experience. All courses are designed to progress from basic levels. Learners with experience also benefit from the strong foundation the courses offer.

Applicants should have completed high school (Class 12 or equivalent). A passion for food and willingness to learn are equally valued during admissions.

Talk to our office if you have not completed your 12 th grade but would still like to enrol for the program.

Admissions are based on an application form, a short personal interview / screening (in person or virtual), and payment of enrolment fees.
Courses & Curriculum

We offer full-time diploma programmes in Culinary Arts and Pastry & Baking.

We also offer short-term specialised classes (artisan bread, chocolate, sugar art) and weekend hobby classes from time to time.

Customise corporate workshops and team building activities are available as well.

Yes, all our courses focus on training students for entrepreneurship. There is specific course content and guidance provided in this area.

Diploma programmes typically run for 6 to 12 months depending on the course selected. Short courses and workshops range from a few days to several weeks.

We keep our batches small (restricted to maximum of 16 students) to ensure every learner gets individual guidance and hands-on practice.

Around 70–80% of training is practical, conducted in our kitchens and labs, with the remaining time dedicated to theory, demonstrations, and professional skill development.

The diplomas do include the use of non-vegetarian products as we are training students for national and international placements, however students who wish not to work with non- vegetarian products are offered suitable alternatives to use in class.
Facilities & Student Life

Students train in industry-grade kitchens, baking labs, and demo spaces. The campus also includes a resource library, tasting sessions, and access to professional tools and equipment.

No, We provide uniforms (Chef coats, caps and aprons) and all tools required for the programme.

While we don’t provide hostel facilities, we assist outstation students with details of nearby PGs and service apartments. There is abundant quality accommodation available within walking distance of the Academy.

Life at BCA is collaborative and hands-on. Students participate in workshops, masterclasses, competitions, and food festivals. The atmosphere encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional discipline.

Yes, We have strong ties with leading hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and F&B brands. Our placement coordinator assists students in securing internships and job opportunities, both in India and abroad.

Graduates can become chefs, pastry chefs, artisan bakers, chocolatiers, food stylists, R&D chefs, culinary instructors, or entrepreneurs.
