The Diplome de Gastronomie is an intensive program offered by the Bangalore Culinary Academy with a unique combination of both Culinary Art and Pastry training. 

This professional chef training at Bangalore Culinary Academy offers foundational knowledge and skills that are transferable.

The diploma in Culinary Arts and Patisserie is an immersive, hands on experience preparing  students with industry relevant knowledge and skills, grooming you for job opportunities or food business entrepreneurship options.

This intensive culinary training program coupled with the pastry training program offers internships and job placement opportunities in leading hotels in Bangalore, in other cities across the country, and paid internships internationally.

Bangalore Culinary Academy has unique tailor made curriculum that ensures well-rounded education with industry relevant knowledge and skills. 

Structured class schedules include in depth theoretical knowledge transfer alongside insightful practical sessions to help clearly understand culinary and pastry concepts

Classes simulate operational requirements and experiences and are delivered by experienced and skilled instructors.

Duration: 12 Months – 6 months (1320 GLH) training with Bangalore Culinary Academy and  6 months industrial training (optional and subject to fulfilment of mandatory criteria)

Upon successful completion of the program along with a Certificate of completion from Bangalore Culinary Academy you will also earn global hospitality certification 

  1. City & Guilds, London, International Vocational Qualification (IVQ), Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts – Food Preparation (8064-01)
  2. City & Guilds, London, International Vocational Qualification (IVQ), Level 3 – Diploma in Professional Patisserie and Confectionery (7120-33)
  3. WorldChefs Certified Chef de Partie Badge

All qualifications and certifications are awarded on successful completion of course criteria.

Exclusions : Kitchen Shoes, Black Trousers, Exam Fee and Certification Charges (as per exam and certification opted for)

The diploma program gives access to premium internships and on the job training programs with some of the leading hotels / hotel chains, bake houses and premium patisseries in the country and abroad.

International internships are available through reputed agencies.

Internship is an optional component of the course and can be opted for on successful completion of mandatory criteria.

Job placement assistance is provided on successful completion of the course and internship.

I did my level 3 diploma in patisserie at BCA in 2020 and it was a great experience! They provide professional & hands on training. They teach all kinds of skills & techniques that are needed to shine in the pastry industry. The recipes they provide are flawless and are priceless assets that will be helpful forever. The house keeping staffs are very thorough and so the place is always spick and span and safe. The security is always present and its a very safe environment to be in.
